ENGLISH II CP (UC/CSU) (Year Course - Core/Required)

Students will participate in a literature based instructional program that emphasizes the acquisition of language skills and the integration of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Units of instruction will include the short story, novels, modern drama, Shakespearean drama, poetry, and non-fiction. Work and assessments will be driven by the California State Standards.

This course is college preparatory and meets the requirements for both the University of California and the California State Universities.

Prerequisite: None Grade 10
