A little bit about myself: I received my undergraduate degree in Sociology from Cal Lutheran and went on to obtain my teaching credential and Master's Degree in Elementary Education from CSUN.  I am an advocate for life-long learning and will hopefully help inspire your children to become life-long learners as well.  This will be my twelfth year at Red Oak and my 29th year teaching!

       On a personal note, I live in Thousand Oaks with my 16-year-old daughter Brooke, who is going to be a junior at Westlake High School this year.  Hard to believe she just got her driver's license!  I still remember her running around Red Oak where she was from K-5.  She plays on a travel softball team, and we took a fun trip to Colorado this summer for a tournament.  We also went to Catalina and up to Avila Beach where we go every year and where I went with my family when I was a kid.  I have an awesome nephew named Tyler who is a senior at OPHS and plays baseball there.  Brooke and I have a crazy lab named Sammy.  He's seven and loves everybody!  I was born and raised in California and love the Dodgers!  I have an identical twin sister who is an English teacher at Westlake High School.  You might see her around town, so don't think I'm rude if she doesn't say hi!  My family and I love going to the beach, and we also love Big Bear!
